Flip D
DJ
Fil was born in Poland and came to the United States when he was only ten years old. Since that moment he has been living in Chicago or its surrounding areas. All his life, music has played a very important role, but it wasn't until about five years ago that he became interested in underground house music; there is something about those sounds that just can't be explained with words. Probably seeing a lot of the famous Chicago DJs at clubs and their abilities to express themselves with house music finally made Fil realize that he had to try it himself. He bought a pair of used 1200's and set off on a mission. Things were tough at first, but like with anything, hours and hours of practice, loud music, and noise complaints paid off. For over a year now, Fil is part of a tag-team duo called twoDeep. The other side of this project is Ryan Scott. Together they dish out deep sounds of house and to rock every place they visit. But no matter what, they keep one thing in mind...it's pure fun!

Carlos V
DJ
Carlos V.'s passion for muzik started at a young age. He grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago listening to the pioneers of house muzik, such as the HOT MIX 5- Mickey "Mixin" Oliver, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Scott "Smokin" Saliz, Ralphi Rosario, Kenny "Jammin" Jason and latecomer Julian "Jumpin" Perez, who were big influences on his career as a DJ. WBMX 102.7 FM Chicago regulars like Bad Boy Bill, Fast Eddie and Bobby D helped inspire his love of mixology. Carlos's first pair of turntables were the Realistic belt-driven with the turn-knob pitch control and a Realistic 2 channel mixer. On those turntables and mixer, Carlos learned how to blend and skratch. In the beginning, he was content mixin' as a hobby in his bedroom and at small house parties. This later escalated to performing at talent shows and larger venues where Carlos exhibited his talent.
The excitement from those experiences increased his passion and introduced Carlos to a whole new world of muzik. Turntablism had a great impact on Carlos with influences like Q-bert, DJ Rectangle, Cutmaster Swift, DJ Noise and Roc Radia. Carlos V. later ventured into the retail end of the muzik industry with the opening of his record store, SPIN MUZIK. His love for muzik and his desire to continue performing spawned the birth of SPIN MUZIK PRODUCTIONS. Hosting events and performing with the best DJs, such as Julian "Jumpin" Perez, Psycho Bitch, DJ Phantom, Gaby "Get Down" a.k.a. G2, DJ Speed, Rick Hype, Billy The Kid, and many others, has given him the experience and knowledge to sharpen his skills as a DJ. Since joining the Articulate Promotions team Carlos has moved many AP crowds with his musical recipe, which includes a dose of exceptional tracks, tight blends and a hint of DMC tricks and skratches. Carlos V. is bangin' the clubs with the ultimate in hip-hop, the best of house and the hardest of hardstyle, leaving the crowd yearning for more of CARLOS V.
